BEAMINSTER Cricket Club is on the hunt for players of all abilities to strengthen their ranks for the 2021 season and beyond.

Led by captain Ross Baker, the first team will compete in County Division One.

Beaminster have also opened up a second team, with Daniel Spiller skippering the side in midweek games in the local Middleton-Hands T20 competition, Mid-Wessex T20s on Sundays and friendlies against local or touring clubs throughout the season.

Recently, Beaminster has also become a Disability Cricket Champion Club and will be offering sessions led by their ECB qualified coach throughout the season.

Based at the Memorial Ground, the club will field a full compliment of youth teams in 2021 including under-10s, 14s and 16s and will be running the All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes.

There will also be coaching sessions for girls and women later in the season.

If you would like to play friendly cricket with a desire to have fun, feel part of a community and get fit, then this is the club for you.

Dependant on government guidelines, pre-season nets will run weekly on Thursdays in April.

Several pre-season friendlies have been arranged at the end of April.
