BRIDPORT boss Jamie Manley insists the pressure is on Willand Rovers going into their FA Cup extra preliminary round tie tonight (7.30pm).

Manley’s Bees are placed one division below Southern League Division One side Rovers and face the daunting trip to the Stan Robinson Stadium.

Bridport have undoubtedly been handed one of the trickiest draws in the round, but Manley admits underdog status could help his side.

“It’s definitely one of the toughest draws we could’ve got,” he told Echosport.

“Willand are a really good side. We’ve got to go there, make sure we perform to the best of our abilities and give it everything.

“It’s their first competitive game for a long time, same as ours. Hopefully we can catch them on an off day and get a result.

“We’re under no pressure, we want to win the game and we’ll give it our best shot.

“All the pressure’s on Willand, they’re home and play in a higher league so they should be turning us over. There are upsets in the FA Cup – let’s hope we can make one ourselves.”

Bridport are without Liam Sayers (hamstring), Chris Hastings (unavailable), Andy Holmes (ankle) and skipper Luke King (groin).
