DORCHESTER Town have pounced to sign experienced striker Jordan Rogers ahead of today's trip to Merthyr Town (3pm).

Rogers could make his Dorchester debut against the Martyrs in the BetVictor Southern Premier South having departed Mangotsfield Town, of the division below, in early February.

The former Tiverton and Taunton marksman has scored four times in 13 games for Mangos this season after joining from Bristol Manor Farm.

Rogers' arrival comes after the Magpies yesterday confirmed the departures of Bristol Rovers loanee Harry Warwick and right-back Kyle Egan, the latter having played 122 times for the club.

Bottom side Dorchester are currently 11 points off absolute safety with 12 games remaining.
