PORTLAND United have seen their Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division encounter with Lymington Town postponed on safety grounds.
High winds generated by Storm Ciara caused damage to a cabin roof within the Blues' Weyline Stadium, also upending a bike shed beside the main stand.
With the damage not yet repaired, Wessex League officials have moved to postpone the fixture with Storm Dennis approaching this weekend.
In two posts on Twitter, the league said: "Game off tomorrow due to the expected extreme weather and associated safety issues from damage last weekend.
"The decision to postpone the @PortlandUnited - @lymingtontownfc game was a league one on safety grounds following storm damage last week."
Poor weather has also struck the Blues' reserves side, with Rich Robson's men seeing their Dorset Premier League trip to Sturminster Newton United thwarted by a waterlogged pitch.
