BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott expects a tight game against Wareham Rangers in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow (3pm) despite the fixture possessing a history of goal-rich scorelines.

Nott’s men have won each of their last four encounters against Rangers, scoring 14 goals in the process.

But Nott fears a congested August fixture list could be a “leveller” at Weymouth College.

He told Echosport: “There’s always quite a few goals in this game but they’re a difficult team to play. If you get ahead you can get a couple more but it’s going to be a really tight game.

“It’s a bit of a leveller where every team’s playing so many games. There’s going to be tired legs and a few injuries.”

Sanchez Baker and Che Curran miss out as Ross Walker, Phil Anderson and Jack Drummond return.

Meanwhile, Dorchester Sports’ manager Ashley James is aiming to “take the momentum” from the midweek 1-1 draw with rivals Balti into a tricky trip to Gillingham.

Sports, like Balti, are unbeaten this season with two draws and two wins but sit one place above in fourth courtesy of a greater goal difference.

James said: “We’ll take the momentum from (Balti) and hopefully take the confidence from the second half.

“Again, it’s another really tough game up at Gillingham, it’s never easy up there. Fingers crossed, we’ve won the two Saturday games so far.”

Ryan Ross, Adam Steele and Ash Smith all miss out but Darren Watts returns. Jamie West (hamstring) is a minor doubt.
