MIKE Long picked up Bridport’s Champion of Champions singles trophy after a 21-16 win over Ann Turtell.
Long was well ahead at 17-10 before Turtell hit back to make it 17-14, Long going on to prove a worthy winner.
The club’s various Winter Leagues have now finished with John and Tim Burwood, Brian Baker, Bob Hill and Ken Giles (North Mill Old Boys) winning the Morning League.
Margaret Clapp, Frances Hewett, Brian Galpin, Bill Payne and Ivor Parker’s (Trimfibbers) took the runner-up spot.
Steven and Martin Grier, Margaret Pestelle, Turtell and Geoff Hansen’s (Bright Sparks) won the Monday League with Adrian Legg, Tony Harrison, Martin Wilton, John Burwood and Baker’s (Hazelwoods) claiming runner-up spot.
Pat Cornick, Long, Baker, Giles and Parker’s (Ecstasy of Gold) ran away with the Evening League, the runner-up spot going to Julie Bright, Sheila Nicoll, Barry Legg and Sue and Brian Walsh’s (Harbour Lights).
