SAM Sherring will stay at Weymouth until the end of the season after his loan from AFC Bournemouth was extended.
The news follows his return to the starting line-up after one month out, and the defender had a good game as Weymouth beat Walton Casuals 2-1 away from home in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South.
Sherring's previous starting appearance prior to the Walton win, was in the 3-1 defeat to Ramsbottom United in the FA Trophy second round.
Sherring made a brief return last weekend, as a substitute in the 4-4 draw at the Met Police, and played the full match against the Casuals, as goals from Ben Thomson and Brandon Goodship secured a 2-1 win.
