SARAH Kilcoyne and Christine Simmons came away with the trophy as Bridport Tennis Club has ended their summer season with their end of season Ladies Doubles Tournament.
Following some close-fought sets in the round robin stage of the competition, the joint-second pairs Jo Guy and Jip Newell won a tie-break decider 7-5 against Jillie Blincow and Peta Webb to play in the finals.
They were not so fortunate in the final and the dominant pairing of Kilcoyne and Simmons were worthy winners with a decisive scoreline of 6-1.
The tournament was followed by tea, cake and prosecco which was enjoyed by all.
