BRIDPORT boss Adam Fricker is looking for a reaction when his side host Romsey Town in a FA Vase first qualifying round replay tonight (8pm).

The first game on Saturday ended in a 4-4 draw after extra-time but Fricker wants a response.

Fricker said: “I am hoping for a reaction and for us to put in a better performance and a performance that we expect, to be perfectly honest.

“We did a lot of talking during and after the game on Saturday, I think the lads certainly knew our feelings and likewise I think they knew that they did not perform to the best of their ability so I am sure we will get the reaction that we would expect.”

Chris McGrath will miss the match due to work commitments, while Lee Sweet, Tom Richardson and Andy Martin will return for the Bees.

Fricker says his side are in good shape and praised his side for their start to the season so far.

Fricker said: “It is fine, we are in good shape going into the game that is for sure

“The lads are confident, we were not at our best on Saturday but likewise we did not lose.

“We are scoring plenty of goals, from our perspective we have had a great start to the season.

“We have won three, drawn three and lost one, so one defeat in seven is not a bad start to the season, to be fair.”
