WE couldn't let this photo pass us by without sharing it in Looking Back.

This image shows a very tranquil looking Boot Hill in Weymouth from bygone days.

There's a lot to see and enjoy in this one. This was when the road was tree-lined, which give the street a very refined look.

Of particular amusement to us is the horse poo in the foreground left by a since departed horse and carriage.

We also have a cyclist with a flat cap who has decided the hill is too arduous to scale and has instead decided to push the bike up the hill.

There's also a very friendly looking dog taking particular interest in a group of women with a pram.

And stopped halfway up the hill is a double decker bus with a very elegant looking staircase. It looks as though there are four women getting off the bus.

Thanks to Peter Barron of the Over 60 and From Weymouth and Portland group for sharing the photo.
