COOKS and kids are set to be catered for at this year’s Camp Bestival.

Some new attractions and guests have been announced for the festival.

First up it has been announced that CBeebies favourites the Clangers will be heading to this year’s festival for the first time.

The Clangers will be bringing their space show each day of the festival with Small and Tiny Clanger needing help finding things, with there sure to be lots of singing and dancing.

There will also be a chance to meet the characters from the show throughout the weekend.

Rob da Bank said: “Wow. The Clangers are coming to Camp Bestival. Watch out Mr Tumble you’ve got some serious competition this year!”

It isn’t just the little ones with something to be excited about though with the line-up for the Hotpoint Festival Kitchen announced as well.

The kitchen gives people the chance to learn new culinary skills live and enjoy cooking demonstrations and interactive sessions with some of the stars of the food world.

It will be hosted by the Spandex-clad grill king DJ BBQ and will feature MasterChef winner James Nathan, River Cottage expert Steven Lamb and Britain’s youngest head chef Luke Thomas.

Rob da Bank said: “This year, The Hotpoint Festival Kitchen has brought together some real star foodies, from River Cottage’s Steven Lamb and James Nathan to our Children’s Food Ambassador Jo Ingleby and old Camp B fave DJ BBQ, who all know a thing or two about cooking. So if you’re looking for some top tips to improve your culinary skills I recommend getting down there and joining in.”

Other guests at the kitchen include Julie Montagu, one of the country’s top yoga and nutrition teachers, hunter-gatherer Nick Weston, and BBC Cook of the Year 2015 Jo Ingleby, who is also the festival’s children’s food ambassador.

People will get the chance to learn how to make their own cordials, jams and chutneys as well dumplings and also find out all about sugar-free cooking.

This year's headliners include Fatboy Slim, Tears for Fears and Jess Glynne.
