POLICE have released CCTV images of a woman they want to speak to in relation to a theft.
Staff at Lilliput Textiles in Bridport found empty packaging of a duvet cover on one of the shelves in the store on Saturday, February 3.
A review of the shop’s CCTV showed a woman enter the store at around 2.15pm on Friday, January 26 and appear to remove the duvet sets from their packaging before placing them in a bag and leaving the premises.
The value of the items taken was around £100.
Police Constable James Mullin, of Bridport police, said: “We have made a number of enquiries into this incident and I am now in a position to issue images of the suspect taken from the CCTV.
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises her, or who has any information about the theft, to contact police.
“I would also appeal directly to the woman pictured to do the right thing and come forward.”
