A driver has been arrested after a car crashed on the coast road in the early hours of this morning.
The Bridport man was not hurt in the crash, although extensive damage was caused to the car.
The incident happened on Burton Road at 5.20am.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said an officer came across the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
The spokesman added: "This was a single vehicle collision involving a black Renault Clio registered to a man from Bridport. There were no injuries and the driver was arrested."
