A community centre in Dorset is celebrating its 10th birthday with an open day packed full of activities for all ages this weekend.
Bridport Youth and Community Centre will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 19, from 10am to 2pm, inviting residents to discover the wide range of events, groups, and opportunities it offers.
Scott Florek, district councillor, said: "I thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Youth Grant Panel, which supports the outstanding organisations and individuals working to make a positive difference in the lives of young people across Dorset.

The centre stands out as one of the busiest and most highly praised youth centres in West Dorset, thanks to a decade of hard work by dedicated community members.
The open day will feature performances from the Rock Choir and youth music group B Sharp, which supports young people to participate in, create, and perform music.
Visitors can also enter the centre’s 10th Birthday Cake competition by baking and decorating a cake that celebrates the centre’s impact.
All entries will be sold after the competition.
Table tennis tables will be available, and art created by the U3A’s over-50s group, which meets at the centre, will be on display.
Young Leaders—graduates of the centre’s youth club—will run the café and serve drinks and snacks throughout the day.
The centre is keen to show that it offers far more than just youth services.
It is home to a variety of community groups, including the Jurassic Amateur Boxing Club, Bridport Musical Theatre, the Table Tennis Club, and both the Red Choir and Rock Choir.
Recent additions to its programme include a table tennis league and a "not so youth club" for over-50s.
Last September, the centre teamed up with NHS social prescribers to host the Forget-me-not Fiesta, an event raising awareness of dementia that attracted around 300 people.
This led to the creation of a weekly singing group for those with dementia and their carers.
