The Ronnie Scott sound is coming to Dorset this September, bringing a taste of London’s jazz scene to the coast.
Award-winning saxophonist Simon Spillett will perform at the Electric Palace in Bridport on Saturday, September 26, at 2pm, joined by the Ronnie Jones Trio.
This marks the final date of their South West tour and the only show in Dorset.

"This is a Ronnie Scott sound on your doorstep, and it's you're only chance to catch him."
Presented by Jazz Jurassica, the concert is part of a series of Saturday afternoon jazz events at the Electric Palace, designed to bring world-class music to the community.
Simon Spillett has been described by The Observer’s Dave Gelly as "those who have caught him live have been left blinking in disbelief," while the Penguin Guide to Jazz said, "he doesn't shake your hand, he grabs you by the throat."
The show will begin at 2pm, with doors opening at 1.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £16 in advance and are available from the Electric Palace website.
