Locals and visitors will be able to step back in time and discover Beaminster's hidden stories.
A special history walk will take place on Sunday, September 13, inviting people to see the town through fresh eyes and uncover fascinating stories from its past.
Running from September 12 to September 20, Heritage Open Days give people the opportunity to discover the history and heritage on their doorstep.
Beaminster Museum is taking part, with this year's theme, 'Everyday Working Lives', reflected in its displays.

The museum's special history walk offers a chance to look beyond the familiar and uncover some of the lesser-known stories woven into Beaminster's streets.
Led by local historian Brian Earl, the walk on Sunday, September 13, from 4pm to 5.30pm, takes in seven locations around the town, revealing hidden layers of Beaminster's history.
A spokesperson for the museum said: "Whether you know Beaminster well or are discovering it for the first time, there will be plenty of surprises."
The walk costs £5 and pre-booking is essential.

Beaminster Museum, located on Whitcombe Road, DT8 3NB, is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Bank Holidays from 10.30am to 4pm, and on Sundays from 2pm to 4.30pm.
