Pictures from Chickerell Steam & Vintage Show 2026

Chickerell Steam & Vintage Show, held at Moor Farm in Knights in the Bottom, attracted steam enthusiasts, families and day-trippers from across the local area and beyond. The warm weather helped bring out strong attendances, with visitors enjoying a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the site.

Organised and run by local volunteers, the show has grown into one of the area’s standout summer fixtures while retaining its friendly, village-style feel.

There was plenty on offer for all ages, including traction engines, rollers and showman’s engines, alongside vintage tractors, classic cars, lorries and motorbikes. Visitors could also enjoy a funfair, beer tent and live music across the weekend.

Elsewhere, model layouts, country crafts and a wide range of trade and craft stalls proved popular, while axe-men demonstrations, historic military vehicles and emergency service displays added to the variety.

Organisers thanked everyone involved for helping make the event such a success.

In a message issued after the weekend, they said: “On behalf of everyone involved with the Chickerell Steam & Vintage Show, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a fantastic success.

“From our exhibitors, traders, entertainers and volunteers, to our sponsors and the thousands of visitors who came along over the weekend, your support created a wonderful atmosphere and made the show a real celebration of our local community and heritage.

“We’re incredibly proud of what was achieved and are grateful to everyone who gave their time, effort and enthusiasm. Seeing so many smiling faces enjoying everything the show had to offer made all the hard work worthwhile.”

They added: “Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.”
