A re-worked, monstrously-musical, Disney-defying version of a classic French fable is coming to west Dorset.

Living Spit will perform Beauty and the Beast at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on Thursday, January 15.

As North-Somerset based, two-person comedy theatre companies go, Living Spit are widely known as being one of the most physically attractive to ever grace the British stage.

However, in this tale as old as time, one of them will be forced to portray a hideous, foul-tempered beast.

Join them as they present Beauty and the Beast - Living Spit style....

A review in The Telegraph says: “Living Spit’s deadpan, well-seasoned repartee pays dividends in this playfully updated version of the 18th century French fable.”

Tickets cost £16 in advance, £20 on the door or £5 for students. There is a 10 per cent discount for members of the Marine Theatre.

Go online to marine theatre or call the box office at Bridport Tourist Information Centre on 01308 424901.
