Beaminster Museum launches winter programme of events

Beaminster Museum is launching its winter programme with a folk drama about the families of the Tolpuddle Martyrs.

Dorset-based group Time & Tide will perform the play To Win the Day on Tuesday, November 18.

The production combines 19th-century songs, historical documents, and real-life stories, offering a portrayal of courage in the face of adversity.

Tickets cost £8 on the door, with the performance scheduled to start at 2pm.

Beaminster Museum has warned that seating is limited.

The museum will also host a talk by historian John Smith on Tuesday, November 25.

The talk will focus on the impact and legacy of the Battle of Britain on Beaminster.

Tickets for the talk also cost £5 on the door, with the event starting at 2pm.
