A new play with a fast-paced, darkly comic premise is Bridport-bound.

Pot Licker, written by Ed Viney, tells the story of three teachers who stumble upon a bag of drugs in their school's lost property.

The play is set to star Dan Gaisford, Charlie Coldfield and Monika Brodowska.

The premiere of Pot Licker will take place at Lighthouse Poole on March 12 before touring around the county and arriving at Bridport Arts Centre on March 26.

The play will also be showcased at Exeter Northcott and the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath, from March 27 to 29.

Produced by Dorchester Arts in collaboration with Lighthouse Poole, Pot Licker is part of a new initiative aimed at bringing fresh work to the stage, supporting writers and expanding options for audiences.
