Police have confirmed that a person was injured in a major lorry and car crash.
Emergency services rushed to Charmouth after receiving a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A35 on Wednesday.
The fire service worked to rescue one person from the car.
An air ambulance also landed at the scene.
Dorset Police have said that one person was injured and taken to hospital, with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "One person was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"No arrests were made.
"The vehicles were recovered and officers left the scene shortly after 6pm."
The A35 was closed during this incident between Charmouth and Lyme Regis, with traffic being re-directed through Charmouth village.
