A man was taking to hospital after hurting his leg on a west Dorset beach
Crews from Lyme Regis and West Bay Coastguard rescue teams were called to the beach at Lyme Regis, after receiving a report that a man had fallen over and hurt his leg.
He was subsequently taken to hospital by members of his family.
The incident happened at about 10.10am on Tuesday, September 17 but details have just been released by the Lyme Regis coastguard earlier this week.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: "Lyme Regis and West Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams responded to a report of a man who had fallen over and hurt his leg on the beach at Lyme Regis on Tuesday, September 17 at about 10.10am.
"He was taken to hospital by family."
