A car driver involved in the major lorry and car crash that caused miles of gridlock on the A35 has been reported for a driving offence.
The crash happened at around 10.30am on the A35 near the turning for Eype on Saturday, September 25.
A lorry could be seen rolled over by the side of the road, which was closed eastbound for more than four hours while it was recovered. This caused miles of gridlock for much of the day.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "A car driver was reported for an offence of driving without due care and attention."
Dorset Police say that there were no serious injuries, though firefighters, ambulance and the air ambulance were all called to the scene as a precaution.
Police did not say which vehicle the reported motorist was driving.
