A WEIGHT restriction has been imposed upon a road which is near to a river in Lyme Regis.
The use of Windsor Terrace is strictly limited to vehicles less than 7.5 tonnes due to defects being identified within the highway, near the riverbank.
The weight restriction came in to operation on September 6 and can remain in force for up to 21 days, however a temporary 18 month order is in the process of being made to allow for permanent repairs to be carried out.
For further information about the restriction, call Dorset Highways Operations on 01305 228100.
