A town centre street will remain closed for some time as firefighters continue battling a large fire.
A blaze broke out at a commercial premises on East Street in Bridport this afternoon.
Initially, six fire crews raced to the scene from Bridport, Charmouth, Beaminster, Dorchester, Lyme Regis and Weymouth.
As of 6pm, another crew from Bridport plus crews from Blandford and Yeovil joined the effort.

Around 40 firefighters are still tackling the fire, which the fire service has now confirmed started in a takeaway on the ground floor of a three storey building.
Pictures show smoke billowing from behind the K Yuen, and the fire service says the blaze has been spreading up to the roof via the extraction system.

A spokesperson said: "Six breathing apparatus wearers are using three hose reel jets and a main jet to tackle the fire, and the ALP is being used to access the roof.
"Three people from the building have been moved to a place of safety, with no injuries reported.
"East Street is likely to be closed for some time while we deal with this incident, and a fire investigation will be carried out in due course."
