Police are hunting for a driver after three cars crashed near Beaminster, leaving one man seriously injured.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.43pm on Thursday, September 12, of a three-vehicle collision on the A356 at Toller Down Gate.
The collision involved a red Ford Focus, a black Seat Ibiza and a grey Peugeot.
The Peugeot failed to stop at the scene.
The driver of the Ford – a man aged in his 60s from Somerset – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after the fail-to-stop collision near Beaminster.
Police Constable Dan White, of West Dorset police, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses who saw what happened to please get in touch.
“I would be keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
“Finally, I am appealing directly to the driver of the Peugeot to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of the incident.”
