A weekend celebration will be held to welcome in the harvest season.
The Friends of St Mary’s Church group in Beaminster will be holding a harvest celebration on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22.
There will be a variety of colourful display all in celebration of the farmers who have worked hard during the season. Organisers hope the event will bring back memories of times past as well as allowing people to reflect on life in the present.
Celebrations will take place from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and on Sunday there will be a harvest service at 9.30am, with celebrations resuming at 11am.
Entry to the event is free but donations are welcome.
