THERE is just one day left for Lyme Regis residents to have their say on a proposed 20mph speed limit in the town.
Lyme Regis Town Council has applied to Dorset Council to introduce a the zone covering most of the town plus a 20mph speed limit on Timber Hill.
The council needs to demonstrate community support for the scheme and has invited residents, businesses and visitors to complete a survey which closes tomorrow (Friday, May 31)
The proposed 20mph zone will cover most of the town, beginning on Charmouth Road before the junction with Anning Road, stretching to Sidmouth Road at the Shire Lane turn off, in the north it will include B3165 Lyme Road up until the turn off to Tappers Knapp.
