Many have come under the banner of ‘home improvement’ with permissions requested for decking, replacement windows and, in one case, the addition of a sauna and pool.

P/PAEW/2024/00776 - Land at Barrowfield Farm Beaminster. Remove top and sub soil from development site North side of Broadwindsor Rd and redeposit on site south of Broadwindsor Rd. Prior Approval Not Required.

P/VOC/2024/01758 - Basket Hill Cottage Littlebredy Farm Lane Littlebredy DT2 9HX. Replace the existing dwelling and garage with a new dwelling including garage (with variation of condition 2 of planning permission P/FUL/2023/02424 to amend the design). Granted.

P/LBC/2024/02203 - 39 Church Street Lyme Regis Dorset DT7 3DA. Add a wooden deck that will be next to an existing patio. Withdrawn.

P/NMA/2024/02324 - Cliff Cottage West Cliff West Bay DT6 4HS. Non-material amendment to Planning permission P/FUL/2022/00457 (Erect 1No. sustainable new build single storey house) - change southern retaining wall from stone to render.

P/HOU/2024/01526 - Venlan Denhay Lane Broadoak DT6 5NN. Erection of garden room to include shower, WC and sauna and formation of pool. Granted.

P/FUL/2024/01278 - Ammonite Lower Sea Lane Charmouth DT6 6LR. Alterations to extant permission (ref: P/FUL/2023/00021) to include a first-floor room and year-round holiday accommodation. Refused.

P/LBC/2024/01761 - Pyne House 10 Broad Street Lyme Regis DT7 3QD. Replacement windows and doors; re-rendering south east and south west elevations. Granted.

P/HOU/2024/01435 - Little Orchard Mill Lane Chideock Dorset DT6 6JS. Proposed changes to the external wall finishes; minor amendments to modify or create door and window openings; form new terrace and steps to the rear elevation and the replacement of 2 No skylights with dormers. Granted.

P/FUL/2023/06796 - Land to the East of Mountfield Rax Lane Bridport DT6 3JP. P/HOU/2024/01457 - 28 Barrack Street Bridport Dorset DT6 3LY.
