Emergency services were called to reports of a person repeatedly jumping off the sea wall in Lyme Regis.
The Lyme Regis and West Bay Coastguard as well as the South Western Ambulance service were called to a person who had reportedly jumped off the eight-metre sea wall in Lyme Regis onto the beach three times.
A full search was completed of the area but no person was found.
The call came in at 3.24pm on Saturday, May 11 however today, the Lyme Regis coastguard has issued information about the incident.
A spokesperson for the Lyme Regis Coastguard said: “We were called out at 3.24pm on Saturday, May 11, tasked with West Bay Coastguard and South Western Ambulance Service to a person who had apparently jumped off the 8m sea wall in Lyme Regis, onto the beach 3 times.
“Thorough search completed with no person found.”
The Bridport and Lyme Regis news has contacted South Western Ambulance service for comment.
