Sussex could name an unchanged XI as they return to Vitality County Championship action.

They have named a 13-man squad for the division two match with Derbyshire in Derby, which starts tomorrow (11am).

It comprises the 11 men who beat Gloucestershire last time out plus Ari Karvelas and Oli Carter.

That means England bowler Ollie Robinson is again involved.

Karvelas took 6-67 in the first innings of this week’s 2nd XI Championship fixture at Warwickshire.

He did not bowl in the second innings as Sussex went down by 335 runs.

Sussex were bowled out for 148 in their second innings in what was otherwise a high-scoring contest.

Bertie Foreman offered some resistance with 47 off 32 balls, including five fours and three sixes.

The batting highlight for Sussex was Daniel Ibrahim’s 132 off 208 balls in their first innings.

Sam Hain made two centuries for the home side.

Sussex squad v Derbyshire: Haines, Clark, Alsop, Pujara, Coles, Simpson, Hudson-Prentice, Lamb, Carson, Robinson, Seales, Carter, Karvelas.
