The investigation into a major two-lorry crash that closed the A35 for around 20 hours continues.
Police received a report at 6.35pm on Wednesday, April 10 of the crash on the A35 near Winterbourne Abbas involving a white Isuzu Tipper lorry and a white DAF rigid tanker lorry.
Emergency services attended and road closures were implemented as they responded to the incident. The road would remain closed until approximately 4.30pm the next day.

One of the drivers was taken to hospital for injuries that are believed to be life-changing.
A 45-year-old man from Exeter had been arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has since been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
