Thieves have stolen diesel from a west Dorset premises.
Red diesel was stolen from a premises in the Salwayash area between the dates of March 24 and April 19.
Red diesel is used by restricted industries in off-road vehicles and machinery.
It is virtually the same fuel as regular diesel, except a red dye is added to identify illegal usage.
A spokesperson for Bridport Police said: “Between March 24 and April19, there has been a theft of red diesel from a premises in the Salwayash area.
“If anyone has any information about this crime, please contact us and use reference 55240057754.
“Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us online at https://orlo.uk/CVAEk, or call 101.
"If you believe a crime is in progress, call 999."
