Rail passengers are currently facing delays after a trespass incident.
The incident happened on the line between Gillingham Dorset and Templecombe.
South Western Railway stated trains on all lines are now running at a reduced speed.
Delays are also expected on train services running through these stations.
Disruption is expected to last until 7pm.
A spokesperson from South Western Railway said: "We have been informed of a trespasser on the railway between Gillingham and Templecombe. Whilst our teams assist the individual to a place of safety, trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: “We received reports of trespassers on the line near Templecombe railway station at around 6pm on Friday, April 12. The line was searched and no trace was found.”
