An emergency service team is taking part in a charity car wash to raise money for a worthy cause.

Members of the crew at the Bridport Fire Station will be taking part in a national charity car wash which will raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.

Car washing will take place from the station on Sea Road South in Bridport between 10am to 2.30pm on Saturday, April 13.

There is a suggested donation of £5 for cars and £6 for vans needing a wash.

Every year firefighters across the UK take part in the national car wash campaign to raise money for the charity to fund the social support to the fire and rescue community.

The Fire Fighters Charity helps all serving and retired members of the UK’s fire family to live healthier and happier. They do this by providing information, advice and support to members and their families.
