World Book Day 2024 is today - Thursday, March 7, 2024.
It's being marked in schools across the county with youngsters dressing up in some brilliant costumes this year.
Last year, West Dorset impressed with some amazing World Book Day costumes - so much time and effort had been put into some eye-catching outfits.
Among them were Paddington, Where's Wally and Peter Pan.
