Lyme Regis residents who are thinking of standing as a councillor in May's elections are being offered information sessions on the role.
Voters will be going to the ballot box on Thursday, May 2 to elect a new town council and for those thinking of standing for election, a series of evening sessions are being put on to help explain what it means to be a councillor.
The two sessions are being held at the Guildhall at 6pm on either Thursday, March 7 or Tuesday, March 12.
A spokesperson for Lyme Regis Town Council said: "The town clerk John Wright is running two information sessions on what it means to be a councillor for Lyme Regis Town Council.
"If you would like to attend either of these sessions please email Anne-Marie Shepherd on anne-marie.shepherd@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk to register your interest.
"If you cannot make either of those dates but are interested in finding out more please let us know."
