West Dorset has been issued with a flood alert as heavy rain batters the county.
The Environment Agency issued the alert just before 10.30am for west Dorset's rivers and streams.
Flooding is possible for areas surrounding Rivers Lim, Char, Winniford, Simene, Brit, Asker, Mangerton and Bride.
River levels are rising due to heavy rainfall and people living and travelling to these areas are urged to be prepared for flooding.
At 8am this morning, large amounts of surface water were present on the coast road.

Further heavy rain is forecast this evening which will cause river levels to rise again.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "We are clearing debris from weed screens in the area.
"We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert/warning if necessary. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water."
It comes while Dorset also has a weather warning for rain in place from the Met Office.
