Travellers have set up ‘unauthorised’ camp on West Bay Fields.

The travellers were reported to have moved onto the patch at around 7.25pm on Tuesday, near to the children’s playpark.

Police officers have attended the site and are liaising with those present as well as the local authority.

Officers are continuing to monitor the situation and will work with local partners and take appropriate further action if required.
