Trees and mud slid onto a road in west Dorset.

A landslip was reported on Pineapple Lane near the entrance to Marles Farm close to Waytown.

The mud and trees could be seen completely blocking the route on Friday.

Ryan Strong from Dorset Nectar Cider said: "Our neighbour alerted us to it. She said she heard it and had to run to dodge it.

"It'll affect our business Dorset Nectar Cider as this road is one which our customers and delivery vans collecting from and to us travel.

"As it is, all this rain has flooded the orchards. The record, wet November 2023 also meant that we could not harvest from the orchards, which ultimately meant being unable to harvest circa 50 tons we were due to press for our cider."
