Christmas may be over, but the celebrations continue for one local couple who have won a competition for having the most festive front door in Bridport.
Bridport Christmas Cheer’s annual competition invited residents across the town and surrounding area to enter its competition by sending photos of their decorated front doors.
Local couple Kevin & Leeann Boon were crowned this year’s winners and have been gifted a £30 voucher to spend at pizzeria Mercato Italiano.
Kathy Dare, member of the Bridport Christmas Cheer committee, said: “The competition started with the aim of getting households around Bridport involved in bringing further Christmas cheer to the town.
"There were some very good entries and I know the judges had quite a task selecting the winner. We look forward to the competition getting even bigger next year.”
Last year the winning door was the work of Andy Violet and Tracey Dunford-Violet, who received a hamper from Mercato Italiano.

Kathy added: “We would like to thank everyone that took part in helping to spread Christmas Cheer around the town and give special thanks to the judges Godfrey and Karen Gamble from Bridport Banners, who had to make the difficult decision.”
