An acclaimed local musician is set for a fundraising gig in west Dorset.
Pianist Duncan Honeybourne of Weymouth will be providing a wonderful recital of Tudor music by candlelight at St Mary Magdalene Church in North Poorton on Sunday, November 26, at 7.30pm.
The performance will feature plenty of well-known tunes, including the works of Dowland, Byrd and JS Bach.
This event will follow the Evensong service starting at 6.30pm which happens every fourth Sunday from January to November.
In true Christmas spirit, refreshments will be available in the form of mulled cider.
Entry is free and any donations will go to the Dorset Historic Churches, which works in partnership with the National Churches Trust and is dedicated to the preservation of Christian churches and chapels of all denominations in Dorset.
