A CAPSIZED dinghy left two teenagers in the water off the coast of Lyme Regis yesterday.
Coastguards, firefighters, paramedics and the Lyme Regis Lifeboat were called at around 12pm on Sunday, November 12.
The two casualties were recovered by the Lyme Regis RNLI and passed into the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "HM Coastguard responded to reports of a capsized vessel and two people in the water off the beach at Lyme Regis yesterday, 12 November.
"Alerted at around 12pm, Lyme Regis Coastguard Rescue Team and the inshore lifeboat from Lyme Regis RNLI were sent to the scene. The casualties were rescued and taken to safety."
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Our co-responder team attended to assist the ambulance, the teenagers were brought to shore by the lifeboat and were later conveyed to hospital by a family member."
