Students at a school in west Dorset created a Poppy Wall of Remembrance.
Assemblies at the Sir John Colfox Academy in Bridport for the event were led by Captain Temple, who as well as being a geography teacher, is an Army Reservist.
Capt Temple, also a member of the Dorset Army Cadet Force which is linked to the Tank Regiment, spoke of her visit to the Cenotaph in London as part of the assemblies.
