CAN you give Arti the sheep a forever home?

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is seeking permenent homes for a number of animals in its care.

As well as Arti, they include dogs, cats, and even a ferret.

All the details are below.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: LavenderLavender (Image: Margaret Green)

Lavender is a gorgeous French Bulldog who is approximately 18 months old and is full of beans! She is looking for a patient family with adults and teenagers, who will get involved with her training and be understanding of her needs. We feel that Lavender would be best suited to a home where she will be the only pet, so she will feel comfortable and settled in her new environment.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: OllivanderOllivander (Image: Margaret Green)

Ollivander is a 10-month-old Labrador who is a sensitive and loving soul. He has lived a sheltered life so far, but he is slowly coming out of his shell. He would love to join a family with adults and older children, who will be happy to continue his training. Ollivander loves being in the company of other dogs, so it would be important for him to join a household with another dog for comfort and support.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: DiggoryDiggory (Image: Margaret Greeb)

Diggory is a playful, 9-month-old Lurcher who can be a little shy of new experiences. Therefore, he is looking for a new family with adults and teenagers, that will help settle him into his new life and attend training classes to build up his confidence. We think Diggory could live with other medium or large-sized dogs who could keep up him, but he would be best suited to a home without any cats or small furries.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: MiloMilo (Image: Margaret Green)

Milo is a beautiful 4-year-old who has found the cattery environment rather daunting. However, he has slowly started to interact with his carers and feel safer and more settled. We feel that Milo would be at his happiest in a quiet home with adults and no other pets. We also believe that he would benefit from having free access to an enclosed garden, where he can explore the outside world in his own time.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: ArtiArti (Image: Margaret Green)

Arti is a gorgeous 1-year-old who entered our care as a hand-reared lamb last year. She has a larger-than-life personality, and she would love to find a home with an existing group of sheep, preferably with some of a similar age to her. We feel that Arti would be best suited to a home with plenty of rotational grazing that is securely fenced, with a shelter for those hot summer days and cold winters.

Bridport and Lyme Regis News: FrankieFrankie (Image: Margaret Green)

Frankie is a loveable ferret who is believed to be around 4 years old. He is thought to be partially deaf, so he can become quite anxious with new surroundings. Due to his previous experiences, we feel that Frankie would be best suited to a home where he will be the only pet. This sweet chap loves attention, so he is looking for a family that will play and give him lots of cuddles.
