BRIDPORT residents are invited to take part in a new project to learn more about their homes.
Bridport Heritage Forum is holding the official launch of their initiative, ‘History of a House through time’, on Wednesday, September 13 at 7.30pm.
The event, to be hosted at the Bridport Town Hall, follows a meeting from the Bridport Heritage Forum in June which set out to investigate the history and heritage of Bridport and West Bay, through a study of houses and families who have lived in them since they were built.
A spokesperson said: “Everyone is invited to meet and discover the plans for future workshops and events and to discuss the outcomes of the research and how it can be shared with the local community.
"Anyone who missed the first meeting can come along and find out the details needed to share in this huge community project which is expected to be completed by next summer.”
Refreshments of coffee and cake will be provided. For more details, contact Sheila Meaney by email at: sheilameaney@btinternet.com.
