A CRASH in a west Dorset town sparked an air ambulance call-out this week.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA) was called to North Street in Beaminster on the evening of Tuesday, August 15.
Residents noted that the road was blocked for some time as emergency crews dealt with the scene.
A spokesperson from DSAA said it was called to an incident reported as a teenager who had been involved in a crash.
The casualty was taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester via land ambulance for further treatment.
"Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance were tasked to an incident in Beaminster reported as a teenager who had been involved in a road traffic incident," the air ambulance said.
"Our team ground escorted the patient to Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester."
