Jurassic Fields is going ahead today.

It comes after severe weather thwarted plans for Friday's event.

This morning, organisers announced the gates to site will open at 11am today.

They said: "We are opening the gates to the festival at 11am!

"All tickets purchased for the festival are now valid for entry to the remaining days of the festival.

"If you can walk to the site, please do.

"We will give updates about the car parks throughout the day as we monitor the ground conditions."

As reported, the first night of the three-day music festival was called off due to severe weather.

The county was battered by heavy rain and strong winds, with the Met Office issuing Dorset with a yellow weather warning for wind.

The warning remains in place today, Saturday.
