Having been following the Vearse Farm project with interest, leading to the situation that has arisen whilst the project has been going through the planning stages, it should have caused quite a consternation that the following issues have not been taken into consideration.

I feel compelled to address the situation with your readership to gain a reactive response to the ongoing situation.

(1) Most of the houses do not have provisions for solar panels which I thought would have been imperative for a massive build situation, as that planned at Verse Farm.

(2) The houses are not all being supplied with the means to recharge battery powered vehicles, which would seem very strange with the present Government policy on reducing pollutant vehicles.

(3) Only so many of the new house builds are to have recycled water facilities installed as a matter of saving water loss to the the surrounding environment

(4) The majority of the houses being approximately 700 are to have run off water drainage to soak aways. Meaning that the water will be discharged into the ground surface leading to a rise in the water table and possibly a flood inducing situation to the entire housing development

(5) There is an inadequate means of water sewage treatment to accommodate the increase in population to the Vearse Farm area. Which in effect will result in there being an increased sewage output going straight into the sea and local rivers.

(6) With the already lack of doctors stationed at the near-by medical centre. How will it be feasible to rely on the new estate to procure a new doctors facility to accommodate the increased population as being envisaged on the new Vearse Farm estate.
