Those with green fingers may wish to head down to a Bridport gardening and plant fair.
The Friends of Bridport Millennium Green are hosting the fair at the top of Rax Lane on Saturday, April 22 from 9.30am.
The event is a good opportunity to get your garden off to a good start as the weather gets warmer, welcoming new growth.
Donations of old tools, pots, trays, books, and anything garden-related are welcomed by the group.
If you have something you’d like to arrange to be collected, you can contact Sandra Brown on 01308 423078.
The group is also hosting a talk on the Bridges of Dorset, led by local author Bernard Paull, who will be showing his old pictures and postcards in order to take audiences on a journey along the rivers, highways and byways of Dorset on Thursday, April 20 at 2.30pm in Bridport WI Hall.
Future fundraising plans also include a bric-a-brac stall, book stall, quiz and more talks.
